Senior Vice President
Mr. Williams is Senior Vice President and Technical Consultant to
Environmental Risk Solutions, LLC based in Nashville. He provides marketing
support and technical services expertise complementing Environmental Risk
Solutions’ ability to provide liability transfers for clients with known
environmental challenges.
Mr. Williams has over forty-two years experience in the railroad
industry, with thirty-two years focused in the environmental field within
the industry. His environmental experience includes Wastewater Treatment
Plant operation, design and construction, and environmental remediation of operating
and non-operating surplus sites.
Ten of the thirty-two years has been with CSX Real Property Inc. (RPI)
working as the Director-Environmental Real Estate Transactions. This
involved non-operating and surplus sites working with buyers, sellers,
developers and regulatory authorities to create win-win situations in
environmental real estate transactions through the voluntary clean-up
programs and Brownfield initiatives. After retiring from CSX he founded MLW,
Inc., a MBE, a sub-chapter “S”, minority owned corporation specializing in
Human Resources and Environmental Real Estate Transaction consulting.
Mr. Williams is a Speaker/Presenter before regional and national
conferences on case studies and Brownfield related topics. He has served on the National Brownfield Association (NBA)
Advisory Board since 1999 and is a member of the Owners Group within the NBA.
Mr. Williams received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the
University of North Florida and attended the College of Civil Engineering at
Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. His registrations and
certifications include: Registered Environmental Manager with the National
Association of Environmental Professionals; Master Certified Hazardous
Material Manager; 40 hour HAZWOPPER Training, annual 8 hour refresher
course; American Railway Engineering and Maintenance Association; American
Railway Engineering Association. |
