Edward S. Allen
President & Chief Executive Officer
Edward Allen is a founder, President & CEO, of Environmental Risk
Solutions, LLC based in the Corporate Headquarters in Cincinnati. He has
over fourteen years experience designing and managing risk financing and
implementation strategies to best meet client income statement, balance
sheet and cash flow objectives. Mr. Allen provides the leadership for
assuring all risks contractually assumed are appropriately insured through
insurance vehicles to collateralize ERS’ obligations to bring closure to the
environmental conditions. He is responsible for the complete administration
of each division within Environmental Risk Solutions and integration of the
disciplines to assure the complete and efficient solution for client’s
environmental liabilities.
Prior to founding Environmental Risk Solutions, Mr. Allen was a member of
the startup team at Pollution Risk Services where he was responsible for business
development, underwriting and administrative operations. He
helped establish the
Cincinnati office of the Hylant Group, Inc. and was involved in all aspects
of agency and client management. Mr. Allen also served with J & H
Marsh, Inc. and Travelers Insurance Company, creating insurance based
financing mechanisms including finite risk programs, blended risk programs,
liability buy-out programs and reinsurance placement with his primary focus
designing risk financing strategies.
Mr. Allen is a graduate of James Madison University, summa cum laude,
where he obtained both his Master of Arts in British Literature and a
Bachelor of Arts in English.
